The hitherto high-light of this year 2006, if not even during the entire course of my passed studies!

An encounter of the to date sole German Nobel price laureate in economics Mr. Prof. Reinhard Selten of the University of Bonn. He was jointly awarded the Nobel price in 1994 together with Forbes Nash jr. (see Beautiful Minds starring Russel Crow) und John Harsanyi for his work in the field of bounded rationality. His concept of sub-game perfect equilibria which reveals unreliable proclamations, largely influences the way negotiations are conducted nowadays and auctions are designed for instance. My travel activities in the year 2005, when I boarded four times a plane in Frankfurt heading to the U.S., continued in March and May. In March, I was sent to the medical center of the State University of Michigan Ann Arbor - a huge campus in a calm and charming city. In May, I once again was en-route in the U.S. delivering humane bone marrow to Philadelphia - fondly called just "Philly" by the townsfolk.

Das Jahr 2005 - die USA wurde gleich vier mal Wirklichkeit.Anfang März ging es das erste Mal in die USA. Die erste Reise brachte mich nach Richmond/Virginia. Im Frühjahr über Ostern verbrachte ich dann mit Cigdem ein Wochenende in NYC und hatte zuvor noch einen kleinen Abstecher nach Memphis gemacht. Mitte Juni verschlug es uns dann nach Nevada und California. Ich flog nach Los Angeles und Cigdem nach Minneapolis. Wir hatten beide getrennte Dinge zu erledigen. Ich nahm mir in LA einen Mietwagen und holte sie in Las Vegas ab - im Nirvana der irdischen Sünden. Dann ging es gen California. Die vierte und vorerst letzte Reise brachte mich im September nach Dallas - leider hatte Nowitzki mit den Mavericks ein Auswärtsspiel.
